Stockport Fireteam Programme
The 'Stockport Fireteam Programme' is delivered jointly by Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and the Stockport Youth Justice Service.
The programme is funded by Stockport Youth Justice Service, the Safer Stockport Partnership and some schools within Stockport.
The 12 week programme is aimed at young people who are at risk of:
- exclusion from education
- offending and/or antisocial behaviour
10 young people start the programme and attend one day a week for 12 weeks. The programme is delivered by a team of 3 firefighters supported by a team of four YOS staff.
