Housing
We want autistic people to be aware of the housing options available to them and to be signposted to sources of support. We also want to increase the understanding of autism by our housing providers and inform them of the reasonable adjustments that are required when supporting autistic people.
What we're going to do
- co-produce and deliver training to housing providers
- signpost individuals and their families to available sources of support and guidance to help them understand their rights
What will good look like?
- housing providers to have a greater understanding of autistic people’s individual needs and how to put reasonable adjustments in place
- a centralised platform to signpost autistic individuals and their families to services that provide meaningful support and information
