Live Well Warm Spaces
In partnership with Sector 3 and as part of our One Stockport Warm & Well initiative, we've funded a network of Live Well Warm Spaces across the borough, opening from Monday 15 December. These free spaces provide a welcoming place for you to relax, connect with people in your community, and enjoy food and hot drinks. You’ll also be able to take part in activities and get information about local services and support.
Visit our warm spaces directory to find your nearest one, and check back regularly to find new spaces and explore what's going on.
Library warm spaces
Stockport libraries are warm spaces. Drop in and enjoy a hot drink, take part in activities, get online, and get advice, information and support if you need it. Visit our libraries directory to find opening times.
Stockroom
You can also shake off the cold this winter at Stockroom, Stockport’s new creative and cultural venue in the heart of Merseyway. Every Monday, you can enjoy free hot drinks and biscuits at Stockroom’s winter board games get together, from 10am to 12 noon. Lots more activities are running throughout the week, so make sure you visit the Stockroom website to explore what's on.
Warm events and activities
Community groups and organisations are also hosting free events and activities where you can enjoy hot refreshments and connect with people in your community. There's lots to get involved in, from coffee mornings to tea dances, Funday Mondays to Friendly Fridays, and chat clubs to knit and natters. Visit our events calendar to find events near you.
Warm spaces for young people
