Midshires Way
The Midshires Way is a long-distance footpath and bridleway across middle England, approximately 225 miles long.
From South to North, the Midshires Way crosses Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the Peak National Park. It then reaches the Pennines near Stockport.
The Stockport section is from Etherow Country Park at Compstall to the Trans Pennine Trail at Tiviot way in the Tame Valley at Stockport
