Support for Looked After Children
All Looked After Children are supported through the termly Personal Education Plan. Additional support is usually prioritised to include the following:
- underachievement
- learning and/or behavioural difficulties
- poor attendance
- fixed term or permanent exclusion
- those in crisis
- a school place at risk
- those moving to a new local council
- those returning to Stockport without a school place
- a care placement needing support to prevent breakdown
- those in need of a formal assessment
