When you visit your preferred provider you can agree how you will use your free hours and arrange a start date.
- There should be no registration fee charged for your free hours, if the setting is able to offer them to you
- There should be no conditions of access you have to agree to in order to take-up the free hours - for example, you must not be forced to pay for additional hours in order to have your free entitlement
- There should be no fees charged for free hours - providers should not charge “top up” fees (the difference between what providers would normally charge and the funding they receive from the local authority) in relation to any free hours
