7. Other council information
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 sets out a requirement for councils to have a Publication Scheme which details how to access key information about the organisation and the services it provides.
A comprehensive guide to the Publication Scheme is available which sets out the range of information and direct links to the Council’s website. It is arranged under the following categories;
- who we are and what we do
- what we spend and how we spend it
- what our priorities are and how are we doing
- how we make decisions
- our policies and procedures
- lists and registers
- services provided by the Council
All information published by the Council is made available under the terms of the Open Government Licence for public sector information. You are encouraged to use or re-use this data under the terms of the licence which are available by visiting the National Archives website.
Should you be unable to find the information you are looking for, please contact either the service concerned or the FoI Officer (0161 474 4299).
