Ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and receptions

The Town Hall is a premier venue licensed to host ceremonies in the Register Office, Sir A. Brumwell Thomas Room, Robert Hyde Room, Marble Staircase, Council Chamber, Committee Suite and The Ballroom.

They all have something different to offer for your ceremony. The stunning renaissance architecture, paired with the spectacular Marble Staircase, provides an unrivalled backdrop for your celebrations.

Whether you are planning a civil ceremony or a full day of wedding celebrations, Stockport Town Hall has something to offer all couples.

We can accommodate between 2 and 500 guests; up to 350 guests for your ceremony, up to 350 guests for your wedding breakfast and up to 500 guests for your evening reception.

Whether you are looking for an intimate wedding day or a larger celebration; we have a range of function rooms and menus that can accommodate any budget.

Our dedicated wedding co-ordinators are on hand to guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have from the initial point of contact right up until your big day. You will be assigned your own personal wedding co-ordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly and you have the day you always imagined you would have.
