What the local offer is

The local offer provides information about the support available in Stockport for children and young people with SEND, their families and carers.
Our SEND strategy

This strategy sets out our priorities for children and young people with SEND and their families for 2024 to 2027.
Co-production

We want families to feel supported, confident, resilient and connected to their community. We can only do this well if we understand the lived experience of people with additional needs and/or disabilities and their families.
SEND champions and the SEND Community Inclusion Group

Our network of SEND Champions is made up of passionate parents, carers and professionals who want to improve the experience of families and children with SEND.
Delivering Better Value in SEND programme

The programme aims to support local authorities to improve delivery of SEND services for children and young people and to make sure that services are sustainable.
