Supported and Specialist Housing Strategy
The Supported and Specialist Housing Strategy has been commissioned in response to the One Stockport Borough Plan, which sets out an ambitious strategy to 2030 to improve the lives of everyone who lives, or spends time in Stockport, with a key ambition to empower people to live happy, healthy, and independent lives.
The purpose of the strategy is to outline Stockport’s strategic intentions for the next 15 years regarding supported and specialist housing.
The strategy:
- provides a clear statement of intent on our ambition to improve existing provision
- sets out how we intend to work in partnership to bring forward new supported and specialist housing to meet the needs of the Stockport community
