2019 winners

2019 saw an exceptionally high standard of work by all the artists who entered this years Open Exhibition.

In numbers:

• over 2000 visits to the gallery
• 355 pieces of artwork submitted
• 261 pieces of artwork on the walls
• 217 artists submitted artwork
• 2300 votes cast by visitors to the gallery

The People's Choice Awards were held on 31 August 2019. The winners were:

• People’s Choice Adult’s Winner 2019: 'A song for all seasons' by Hazel Thomson
• People’s Choice Children’s Winner 2019: 'The Lake' by Olivia Grundy
• Michael Hartley-Rose 17 to 25 yrs Award 2019:
  • 'My Town II' by Sophie Holt
  • 'Weldasaurus' by Jamie Hargreaves
