Who it's for
Stockport Business Finance Scheme is aimed at businesses across Stockport who are unable to raise the finance they need to start up a new business or finance an existing business.
To apply you'll need to be able to demonstrate a viable business plan. It must show that the business can both meet the loan repayment and create or protect jobs as a result of the finance.
You'll also need to be able to show that you've tried unsuccessfully to obtain some or all of the finance you need from the traditional lenders.
A quick decision will be provided to the business based on the information supplied. Business Finance Solutions, who managed the scheme on behalf of us, don't credit score. Decisions are made on a judgemental basis. They're typically made between 2 to 4 weeks depending on the complexity of the loan application.
