Start Smart
The Business Growth Hub has launched its new Start Smart programme It's designed to support local residents who want to find out if self-employment is right for them.
From initial idea to starting your own business, support is available through locally delivered workshops, events and one-to-one specialist advice. All residents of Stockport are eligible, and support is also available for those that have recently started their business.

Build A Business
Build A Business is an innovative project aimed at small businesses, entrepreneurs and anyone thinking of starting their own business.
It’s running in libraries across 10 Greater Manchester authorities, offering tailored help to support new businesses.
Build a Business in Greater Manchester Libraries is part funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and managed by Manchester City Council. The project will run until 2025.
