You can use our online form to make a noise nuisance complaint.
Every year we receive more than one thousand complaints involving domestic noise. These are often about loud music, barking dogs, burglar alarms and car alarms. Before contacting the team, we would advise the complainant to approach their neighbour and discuss the problem in a friendly and informal manner.
It may be they are not aware that they are causing a nuisance. If this is not possible or if it has already been tried with no success, we may be able to help.
If you want to report an audible intruder alarm that has been ringing for more than 20 minutes and is still ringing now, call 0161 474 4181 during office hours. Do not use the online form.
