Before you start
Make sure you’ve read our information about noise nuisance.
You can not use this form to report:
- noise from children playing
- road, rail and aircraft noise
- noise from a one-off party
- ordinary, everyday living noise
- noise impacting you away from your home or workplace, for example while you’re walking past a noise source
Ongoing alarms
Do not use this form to report an audible intruder alarm that has been ringing for more than 20 minutes and is ongoing. You should call 0161 474 4181 during office hours.
Domestic violence or abuse
Do not use this form to report noise from domestic violence or abuse. You should report this to the police.
Anonymous complaints
If you wish to make a complaint anonymously, we'll record the complaint, but we will not be able to progress an investigation. This is because the law requires us to assess the impact of the noise upon the person who has complained.
How we use your data
The council primarily use your data for investigating your report. All information is processed in accordance with our organisational privacy notice. We never sell your data to third parties or use it to market to you without your consent.
