You can use this form to report an issue with road markings. You can tell us about missing or faded road markings. For example:
- give way or stop markings
- yellow lines
- markings on speed bumps
- disabled access markings
- markings outside schools
- box junctions
Yellow lines
Yellow lines are provided where there is a need to:
- restrict parking to help reduce dangers
- ease traffic flow
- prevent obstructions on the road
White lines
White lines on the road provide guidance about the routes we're travelling on, lane use, directions and actions needed by road users at junctions such as to stop or give way.
Road markings are just as important as signs and we use them to enable all road users to travel safely.
Before you start
You'll need:
- the street name of the road markings issue
- details of the issue
