We aim to fix reported street light faults within 7 days.
Some repairs may take longer due to supply issues or where planned traffic management is needed for us to carry out the work safely.

If you haven’t got My Account and you would like to track the progress of your report you will need to keep a record of your report number.
Before you start
Some street light faults are hazardous and dangerous to the public, these include:
- exposed cables
- damaged, knocked down, or unstable street lights
- missing or loose doors and covers
Please ring 0161 217 6111 to report the fault. Please provide us with as much information as possible on the location of the fault so that we can rectify the problem quickly. Never attempt to help by covering up or touching the wiring.
