You can use this form to tell us if you think someone in a position of trust poses a safeguarding risk to those with care or support needs.
For example, you might be worried that someone who works or volunteers with care recipients has:
- become a risk to people they interact with
- behaved in a way that might have harmed someone they look after
- committed a criminal offence against someone
Note:
We'll only make enquiries about someone if they work, volunteer or live in the borough of Stockport. If this is not the case, you must report this to the relevant local authority.
If your concern is about someone working with children, and not adults, you must contact the LADO instead.
If you want to tell us about someone who you think is at risk, rather than someone who poses a risk to others, you can:
Before you start
You'll need:
- their name
- details about this person's role or position
- details about your concerns, including any events that took place
- details about their employer or organisation's knowledge of this matter
- details about whether the police or any regulatory bodies have been informed
- details about whether others are still at risk
Note to employers
If you're an employer, volunteer manager, student body or have any other working relationship with this person:
- you must assess and manage the risk
- you must consider the need to share information to protect people within that service if also they work with another organisation
How we use your data
