Council Tax Direct Debit form

You can use this form to:

  • set up a Direct Debit to pay your Council Tax each month
  • change your Bank or Building Society account details
  • change your Direct Debit payment date

We do not accept third party Direct Debit details. If you're not named as a liable person for the Council Tax account, we cannot accept payment by Direct Debit. You'll need to use an alternative method. For example; standing order.

We only collect payments on the 1st, 15th and 25th of the month.

Change your Direct Debit date

Do not change your Direct Debit (DD) date within 7 days of your existing payment date. Please allow 21 days before the date your account would usually be debited for these changes to be made.

The table gives examples of timings and how they could affect your payments and payment dates.
