You can use this form to request copy certificates for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that occurred in the Stockport Registration District.
Copy certificates can only be requested after the birth, death, marriage or civil partnership has been registered.
Standard copy certificates cost £12.50 per certificate and we aim to have these ready for postage or collection within 21 days.
An express service is available for an extra fee of £26 per person and we'll aim to have these ready for postage or collection within 24 hours of the request.

If you choose to have your certificates posted to your address, the following Royal Mail services are available:
- first class: £1
- first class signed for: £3
- special delivery: £8
Stockport Register Office can accept no liability for items lost in the post and cannot guarantee delivery timescales for the chosen postage method.
