Apply to hold an event in a park

If you want to hold an event in Stockport’s greenspaces or parks, you can apply for permission using this form.

The form also incorporates the application to film in Stockport Parks.

Before you start

The information pack provides advice and guidance on:

  • What information you need to complete the application form
  • What other departments you may need to contact
  • How to fill out the risk assessment form (PDF 315Kb)
  • The level of insurance cover required, and the information we need to ensure this is in place

Please ensure that you have read the terms and conditions (PDF 186Kb). You will be asked to agree to these as part of the application process.

Timescales

It can take up to 3 months for an application to be processed. Please make sure that you apply in plenty of time.

Larger events can take up to 6 months to fully organise. These timescales need to be taken into consideration when making an application.
