How to access the service
Here you can find out how to access the School Nursing service if you're a:
- child or young person
- parent or carer
- professional (working in education, health or social care)
Children and young people
Speak to your pastoral lead in school. Ask them to refer you to the School Nurse.
Parents and carers
If you're worried about your child, speak to the pastoral lead in school to discuss a possible referral and support from the School Nurse.
You can also get help and support by calling our Health Visiting and School Nursing advice line on 0161 835 6789. The line is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4:30pm (excluding bank holidays).

Professionals
You can make a referral if you're a:
- GP
- professional within an educational establishment
- health professional
- social care professional
- professional working as part of Mosaic drug and alcohol services
