Jacksons Lane, Hazel Grove
Works are taking place on Jacksons Lane to provide the permanent vehicle entry and exits for Laurus Grace alternative provision school, next to Hazel Grove High School.
The works are scheduled to be carried out from the week starting 2 March 2026 for approximately 6 weeks.
Traffic management will be required to enable the works to be completed safely and efficiently. This includes the use of temporary traffic lights and localised footway closures on Jacksons Lane.
Access to all properties will be maintained at all times, and local pedestrian diversions will be clearly signed via suitable crossing points.
The works will generally be carried out between 9:30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend working as required. The temporary traffic lights are planned to be removed when works are not taking place, with the footways re-opened to pedestrians.
The works will be between 7.30am and 5pm during the school holidays (weeks starting 30 March and 6 April).
