The proposed works include:
- reinstating the pavement across the redundant vehicle access
- installation of kerb side bollards
- installation of additional drainage
- relaying existing tegula block paving
- removing closed bus stop and reinstating tegula block paving
The highway works are due to start on the 4 May 2021 and will take approximately 4 weeks to complete. Several traffic management arrangements (signage, barriers, cones and prohibited pedestrian movements) will be put in place during the construction period to allow the works to be carried out in a safe manner. The works will mainly take place Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4:30pm.
The contractors working on our behalf will seek to minimise noise and disruption and maintain access to premises at all times.
Measures are in place to make sure that applicable guidance in relation to coronavirus is in place for the safety of our staff and the general public.
The impact of the traffic management will be under continual review and the traffic management requirements may be subject to change if there are unforeseen circumstances on site.
Up-to-date information about the works will be provided on this page.
