A6 Buxton Road/Kennerley Road junction, Davenport
Carriageway resurfacing will take place on A6 Buxton Road/Kennerley Road junction. Work is expected to begin on Thursday 5 February 2026, weather permitting. We estimate the work will take up to one week to complete.
To minimise disruption and to allow safe working operations to take place, it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements using temporary traffic signals and put in place a road closure on Kennerley Road during working times (8pm to 5am).
We've liaised with bus service providers who will make the appropriate arrangements for any bus stops that may be affected by this work. A signed diversion route will be in operation for Kennerley Road.
