A560 Stockport Road, Cheadle
Carriageway drainage and resurfacing works will take place on A560 Stockport Road between approximately Councillor Lane and Roscoes Roundabout. Work is expected to begin on Monday 9 February 2026, weather permitting. We estimate the work will take up to one week to complete.
To minimise disruption and to allow safe working operations to take place, it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements using a temporary road closure during working times (8pm to 5am).
We've liaised with bus service providers who will make the appropriate arrangements for any bus stops that may be affected by this work.
