Permanently living in a residential home or hospital

You may be able to get a 25% Council Tax reduction if one person over the age of 18 in the household does not live permanently in a residential home or hospital.

You'll need to get confirmation from the residential home or hospital confirming the person is permanently resident there.

You will not pay Council Tax if everyone over the age of 18 in the household permanently lives in a residential home or hospital.
