Blocked grid or drain
If there is water around 1 or 2 grids it may be because of a blocked grid or drain. You can report it by using our online form.
Flooding across larger areas and roads may be because the amount of rainfall is too much for systems to store and drain well. This is because they're full, not blocked. This will often clear in a few hours.
Report a flood on a road or pavement
You should report a flood if it's blocking the:
- whole road or causing traffic to drive on the other side of the road
- whole pavement or causing pedestrians to walk into the road
