Register to vote
To vote in an election or referendum, you must be on the electoral register. Everyone who is eligible to vote is responsible for registering themselves. You can register online below.
Greater Manchester Mayoral Election
The last date to register is the 13th April at midnight.
The electoral register will not be updated after the 1st of September until the 1st of December while we conduct the annual canvass. Anyone who applied to be on the register after the 10th of August will not be added until then. Credit Rating Agencies are aware of this and will be sent this information on the 1st of December.
The table below shows the dates you will appear on the electoral register, dependent on the day you submit your application.
