Stockport by rail
Stockport is well connected to main rail networks with frequent services to London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and many other places. The station is just off the A6, which runs through the town centre, and only a five minute walk from the main council offices.
In addition to main line services Stockport’s neighbourhoods are also well connected by rail. Davenport, Woodsmoor, Hazel Grove, Heaton Chapel and Middlewood provide convenient connections to the centre of Stockport and Manchester.
Bredbury, Brinnington, Marple, Reddish North, Rose Hill and Romiley connect directly to Manchester centre.
