Footpath 126

We're making an order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

We'll temporarily close footpath 126 Stockport from its junction with footpath 127 for roughly 375 metres to a point on footpath 126 near the northwest corner of the factory. Traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the footpath.

The order is necessary to enable works to enable works for a development.

We expect the works to last for a maximum of 6 months from 19 January 2026.

Alternative routes will be from the junction with footpath 126 in a northerly direction along footpath 127, Stockport, as far as a new entrance opposite Flowery Field, onto a constructed diversion route in an easterly direction, then southerly direction, as far as footpath 126.
