Footpath 115

We're making an order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

We'll temporarily close footpath 115 Stockport from the River Tame for a distance of 100 metres in a westerly direction, while traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the footpath.

The order is necessary to enable works to be carried out to repair a destroyed cable bridge.

A diversion will be signposted on site.

This order will be effective for 6 months from 15 January 2026.
