Footpath 104

We propose making an order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

The order will temporarily close footpath 104 Stockport at the level crossing near Fallow Fields Drive, Reddish, while traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the said footpath.

This order is necessary to allow for Network Rail works at the level crossing.

We expect that the maximum duration of the works will be 6 months.

Diversion route:

  • along Downfields, Field Drive and West Meadow to the path by the railway to Thornley Lane South

This order is to come into operation on the 30 June 2024 and will have effect for 6 months, unless work finishes sooner.

The reference number for this order is ZA/3270.
