Hazel Grove and Bramhall

Footpath 50

We've made an order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

We'll temporarily close footpath 50 (Hazel Grove and Bramhall) for the full length between Bramhall Park Road and footpath 51 (Hazel Grove and Bramhall). Traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the footpath.

This order is necessary to allow works by our contractors.

This order is to come into operation on 25 July 2026 and will have effect for 6 months.

Alternative routes will be provided from:

  • the Western end of footpath 50 Hazel Grove and Bramhall north on footpath 51 (Hazel Grove and Bramhall) to Linney Road, then east to Bramhall Park Road and then south to the eastern end of footpath 50 (Hazel Grove and Bramhall)

Footpath 21

We're making an order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991.

We'll temporarily close footpath 21 for the section where barriers are in place. Traffic signs to that effect are in place on or near the footpath.

This order is necessary to permit work by United Utilities.

A diversion will be in place via the footway on Ack Lane East to Bramhall Lane South.

This order is to come into operation on 23 July 2026 and will have effect for 6 months.
