If you’re a registered elector in Stockport, you can contact our Elections team to get a free certificate confirming your electoral registration.
The certificate is produced for the current year. It will be sent to your current registered address or to the email linked to your registration.
If you’ve changed your name during the period you need a certificate for, we may ask for proof of your change of name. This could include a marriage or deed poll certificate.
If you’ve changed your address during the period you need a certificate for, you’ll need to tell us the previous addresses which you also need proof for. We can only supply certificates for addresses in Stockport.
