My time at Stockport Council started as a year in industry placement for my degree. Since starting 6 months ago, I have accepted the offer of a permanent position within the team whilst I finish my degree part time.

I enjoy working in a team where we all help each other to help the residents of Stockport and keep the buildings safe.
Working with Design and Technical Services has taught me how much care and hard work goes in to maintaining a borough like Stockport. My current role is to help run various projects, such as demolitions and roof works, whilst developing my skills to become a qualified building surveyor.
