Events Manager

I recently joined Stockport Council Events Team having previously worked for a restaurant group as an Operations Manager. I was looking for a different direction and new challenge.

I have already attended the Etihad Stadium Wedding Fayre and am involved with planning the Ambitious Stockport Awards ceremony in Stockport Town Hall ballroom.

I handle a range of enquiries daily, liaising with managers throughout the council and local suppliers, as well as external customers, conducting client show rounds at our three venues licensed for weddings: Bramhall Hall, Chadkirk Chapel and Stockport Town Hall.

I enjoy my role because it’s fast paced, diverse, and the team is experienced, supportive and cohesive.
