We have the authority to carry out maintenance/repairs to roads and highways which have been formally adopted by and is the responsibility of the Local Authority.
The responsibility for unadopted roads lies with the owners of the properties fronting or backing onto the road. The owners are responsible for the ongoing maintenance.
