The Council has commissioned The Greater Manchester Growth Company to conduct a Sponsored Care Worker & Wider Workforce Training Needs Analysis Pilot Project. The Growth Company is a Data Processor. This means that they are responsible for collecting and processing your personal data on behalf of the Data Controller. What is the legal basis for using your information?

Article 6 1(e) processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller. This is detailed in legislation including:

  • Care Act, 2014
  • Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014

Article 6 1(a) the data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data.

For processing special category data our lawful basis is:

  • Article 9 2(h) - processing is necessary for health or social care purposes
