  • activation and login dates and times
  • access logs, for the purposes of anonymous statistics gathering and providing an audit log in case of abuse

The legal basis for processing your personal data, in accordance with the UK GDPR is:

  • (e) Public Task: the processing is necessary to perform a task in the public interest or for an official function, and the task or function has a clear basis in law

In this case that is the running of wifi services.

  • when you register to use the service
  • when you use the service

Who do we share your information with?

Your personal data may be shared with:

  • the wifi service provider, The Network People
  • Stockport Council and its subsidiaries
  • the police and safeguarding partners if requested
  • court orders and other legal obligations

How long will we keep your information?

12 months

We will not transfer your information outside of the EU.

For this service all the decisions we make about you involve human intervention.
