What is the legal basis for using your information?

The processing is required for the performance of a contract we have entered with you.

Where consent is used, you're entirely free to decide whether to provide such data, and there are no consequences of failing to do so.

  • employee contractual and payroll details for 6 years after cessation of employment
  • cessation of employment +6 years for disciplinary and grievance cases
  • cessation of employment +6 years for dismissals except gross misconduct due to a safeguarding reason
  • cessation of employment +25 years for dismissals due to gross misconduct for a safeguarding reason
  • pension information for 6 years after death of last known beneficiary

Transferring your information outside of the European Union (EU)

We will not transfer your information outside of the EU.
