2. A levels

A levels are academic level 3 qualifications and can be studied at school sixth forms and colleges. Universities require most applicants to be qualified to level 3.

From September 2015 to 2017 A levels were reformed to become more demanding.

Students take exams at the end of the 2 years and normally study 3 or 4 different subjects. There's a reduction in coursework, apart from practical subjects.
