UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research
The UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research replaced the Research Governance Framework in 2016 following public consultation.
This policy framework aims to help make the UK an even better place to do research. It is aimed at all those responsible for health and social care research in the UK. When finalised, it will replace the current research governance frameworks published by each of the UK health departments.
If you are planning to do research in Stockport that involves the collection or use information about staff or vulnerable service users, their relatives, carers or friends you may need RGF approval. This particularly applies to external researchers.
