Bramall Hall closed for a private function

Bramall Hall will be closed to the public every Saturday from 17 August to 21 September 2019 due to a private function.

Our Visitor Centre, Shop and Café are open as usual.

6. Tours

Guided tours

Our guided tours run every Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

Discover Bramall Hall with one of our expert guides. You'll gain a wonderful insight into this magnificent historic house. The house has witnessed seven centuries of colourful history from early medieval beginnings to present day.

All ages are welcome and there's no need to book. Just drop in, however there are limited places are available on a first come first served basis.

Price: £2 plus standard admission

Group tours

Our new group tours will take in all aspects of the restored Hall including:

  • The Great Hall
  • Banqueting Room
  • Chapel
  • Servants Quarters
  • Victorian Kitchen

During the group tours, you'll learn about social history and the families who made Bramall Hall what it is today:

  • the Masseys
  • the De Bromales
  • the Davenports
  • the Nevills

We'll discuss the stunning architectural design of the building, including the wattle and daub feature and other fascinating aspects.
