3. About the application process
When the planning application has been received with all the necessary information and supporting documents, it will be validated as soon as reasonably possible. The local planning authority (LPA) should then begin the determination process.

When the application has been deemed valid, it will be placed on the planning register and given an application reference number. You can search and view all planning applications online using our find planning applications page.
