If we manage some or all of your care, we'll send you an invoice every 4 weeks. This will show you:
- how much you need to pay, including any money owing for 4 weeks of care
- how you can pay
- details of all the services you’ve had in the last 4 weeks
You can pay your invoice in the following ways:
Online
You'll need your invoice reference number and a debit or credit card.
Through your bank
Make your payment to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council. You must quote your invoice reference number.

You should allow up to 5 working days for the payment to reach your account.
By telephone
Payments can be made over the telephone by debit and credit card. This is an automated service available 24 hours a day. Please call 0300 456 0487 and select option 2.
You'll need:
- the amount you want to pay
- your debit or credit card details
- your invoice reference number
At a Post Office or PayPoint outlet
Take your invoice with you and use the barcode on the front to make your payment by cash or by debit card, if the outlet accepts them. Please keep the payment receipt with your reference on it, as well as any till receipt as they're proof of your payment. It can take up to 5 working days for us to receive your payment.
By Standing Order
This is an instruction from you to your bank or building society. It authorises them to regularly pay a fixed amount to us. If the amount you're expected to pay changes, or the service ends, it's your responsibility to tell the bank.
