Our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is here to help you the employer make safer recruitment decisions for roles that involve working with children or vulnerable adults.
Our aim is to help protect children and vulnerable adults by providing a first class service to support organisations who recruit people into positions of trust.
Our Umbrella Body Service
We are a registered Umbrella Body with the DBS. As an Umbrella Body we are able to process DBS checks for clients who are not registered to process themselves.
You can use our service to process your DBS applications for all your new staff and for any renewals you may need. We currently carry out checks for both local and national customers, including the NHS, charities, sport groups and medical centres.
We are able to process your DBS checks regardless of the size of your organisation. You can be a small organisation with a few employees or a large organisation employing hundreds of staff.
Our DBS team sits within the human resources department of the council and our service is fast, friendly and efficient. We have a dedicated and experienced team of DBS experts who are able to process and monitor your DBS applications. They can also provide you with support and guidance as required.
