One Stockport Safety Partnership (OSSP) is the Community Safety Partnership (CSP) covering the borough of Stockport. CSPs are statutory partnerships, which have existed since 1999. They require different organisations to work together to identify and address local priorities relating to community safety issues such as crime, antisocial behaviour and substance misuse.
Statutory partners include:
- police
- local authorities
- fire and rescue services
- NHS bodies
- probation services
In Stockport, Stockport Homes Group and Sector3 are also active members of the partnership. CSPs are required to regularly review local priorities and plans.
The One Stockport Safety Partnership Plan 2025 to 2028 outlines our ambitions for community safety across the borough.
The 3 priorities in the plan are:
- keeping people safe and supporting
- reducing harm and offending
- strengthening communities and tackling inequality
