WWII Veterans' Tea Dance

Stockport Council is encouraging local veterans and their families to attend the upcoming World War II Veteran’s Tea Dance hosted by the Royal British Legion.

The event will take place on Friday 28th July from 1pm to 3pm at the Village Hotel, Waterfold Business Park, Rochdale Rd, Bury, BL9 7BQ.

Guests will be treated to tea, sandwiches, cakes and music.

Councillor David Sedgwick, Stockport Council’s Executive Member for Reform and Governance, said: “The Council has always fully supported our Armed Forces community and I’d encourage veterans and their families and friends to get together in this event to share the ties that bind them together.”
