Update on energy price cap and government support

Following the statement from OFGEM (the energy regulator for Great Britain) that the price of energy is set to rise for households across the UK, the government has announced a package of support available to help with fuel bills.

One of these support measures is a £150 council tax rebate for those households in bands A to D. The government have stated that they expect households to receive this rebate from April this year.
