We’ve picked out just some of the great events happening, including:

  • Dinosaur Takeover Day, Saturday 9 June from 10am to 4pm
    Packed full of fun and entertainment for all the family, come and enjoy a day of dinosaur fun. With a Dinosaur Park compete with Jurassic jeep, T-Rex, Velociraptor and Dino baby walkabouts as well as children’s presenter Andy Day on stage with an exciting show it will be a great day for all.   • Stockport Makers Market, Saturday 9 June from 10am to 4pm
    Support more than 70 of the region’s makers, bakers and creators at the Market Place, where you can try some delicious food and find unique arts and crafts.

  • Crafty Makes at Stockport Museum, 9-10 June from 11am to 5pm
    Pick up one of Stockport Museum’s craft bags and find everything you need to make something that is linked to our exhibitions. Suitable for ages 3 and above. Drop-in during normal visiting hours.

  • Stockport Treasure Trail, Saturday 9 June from 9am to 5pm
    Pick up a trail booklet from Stockport Market and take part in a self-guided, gentle walk around our historic town centre as you follow clues to crack the trail code. You'll go past some of our finest landmarks and learn more about Stockport. All profits from the trail go to supporting local people who are deaf or blind. Each trail booklet costs £6.99 and comes with a chance to win £100 if you finish it.

  • The Vintage Village, Stockport Market, Sunday 10 June from 10am to 4pm
    Here you will find quality authentic vintage clothing and accessories for men and women, vintage jewellery, homewares, decorative items, textiles, luggage, furniture, curios and collectables, and an unexpected delights you never knew you wanted! More information at
